Located about 75 miles from Portland,
Tillamook is a small coastal town of about 4400 residents. Nearby you will find
some of the beautiful beaches the area has to offer. If you are looking for
crabbing and clamming there are three major bays nearby and chartered fishing is
also available. The town is known for it's fishing, tourism and timber
industries

Tillamook, Oregon is home to several museums
including a historical museum, a naval air museum and a maritime museum. It is
also famous for it's Tillamook cheese so be sure to visit the Tillamook Cheese
Visitors Center while you're there.

Garibaldi Museum - Dedicated to preserving
the memory of Captain Robert Gray, 18th century sailing is showcased with models
of the Lady Washington and the Columbia.

relating to the city of Garibaldi.
Tillamook Cheese
Visitors Center - Take a tour of the grounds and
learn about the cheese making process and the history
of the company and get free samples of the delicious
cheese.
Cape Meares State
Scenic Viewpoint - Located about 10 miles west of
Tillamook, you can view sea birds, bald eagles and
peregrine falcons. The Cape Meares Lighthouse is
located here and tours are available. This is also a
great spot for whale watching during spring and
winter months.
Cape Lookout State
Park - This campground and day use park is
located about 12 miles southwest of Tillamook.
Whether you are looking for beachcombing or hiking
it's all available here. Over 8 miles of hiking
trails are available.
Tillamook Air
Museum - Boasts a collection of about thirty
planes including the P51 Mustang and P38 Lightning. A
gift shop and cafe are also available.
Tillamook Forest
Center - East of Tillamook about 20 minutes, this
educational center focuses on the state forest and
the famous Tillamook Burn.
