Seaside,

Located at the end of the historical Lewis and Clark
trail, Seaside, Oregon is a beautiful town with a local population of about 6000
people. The town is full of specialty stores, galleries, museums, restaurants
and more! All of this and it's only about an hour and half from Portland.
Seaside is well known
for its ocean front Promenade boardwalk where you can
walk or bike along it's beautiful mile and one half
long stretch.

The beach is about 250 feet wide making it a popular
area. You can find numerous activities including volleyball, kite flying and
some interesting sand castle building. Don't forget about fishing, crabbing and clamming.
Seaside has many fine restaurants that offer a
wide range of cuisine. Plenty of lodging is also available, whether your looking
for motels, R.V. parks, campgrounds or bed and breakfast.

- Built in 1937 it is one of the older aquariums.
View the underwater life of sea creatures including
jellyfish, eels, starfish any many other varieties of
fish.

Carousel Mall - This is a unusual mall
containing specialty stores that are located around a
working and full sized carousel.

Museum and Butterfield Cottage - Get a taste of
Seaside's history by visiting this wonderful museum.
Fort Clatsop
National Memorial - Honoring the Lewis and
Clark expedition, it includes a visitor center, a
reconstructed fort and picnic facilities are also
available. A great daytime getaway for the entire
family.
