Brookings-Harbor,
Oregon is known for it's mild weather and beautiful
scenery. It's located on Highway 101 about 6 miles
north of California. Brookings-Harbor, Oregon is well
known for for it's Easter lilies which can be enjoyed
on it's summer days.
The area consists of
two cities with a population of about 10,000 people.
It's situated on the Chetco River which divides
Brookings and Harbor. The area has several
restaurants, gift shops and interesting small
businesses which can make for a relaxing and fun
experience.

Sporthaven
Beach is located off Boat Basin Road. It's a
great place to visit if you're wanting to watch
whales. In the spring during March and April is
the best time to spot Grey Whales but some have
been seen year round. Sporthaven Beach offers
free parking along with camping and picnic
areas.
Harris State
Beach is also known for whale spotting. It's located on
Highway 101 north of Brookings, Oregon.

It offers
campsites, trails, dump station and trailer spaces.
It's a great area for biking and hiking.
Redwood Nature
Trail is about a mile long trail shaped in a
loop. Enjoy the nature and beauty on this trail. It's
located near Loeb State Park.
Azalea Park is
located on North Bank Chetco River Road. It's a city
park that offers a children's playground, picnic areas
and a amphitheater for musicians and performers. Look
for the Nature's Coastal Holiday Light Show and
Sculpture Display in December.
Port Of Brookings
Harbor is the place for boating and fishing.
Access ramps and slips are provided. It's located at
Boat Basin Road.
